Ceilidh for a corporate event in Marlin's Wynd, Edinburgh during the Edinburgh Festival. A very international group who had never ceilidh'd before. A great night was had by all!

The band have been really busy in recent months with ceilidhs for all kinds of events from weddings to birthday parties.  Here’s an ‘action shot’ from one of our recent ceilidhs in the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh for the wonderful Edinburgh University Snowsports Society.

This photo was taken by photographer Kendall Fewster. If you would like to see more of Kendal’s work, her website is http://www.kendalfewster.com

Our next public ceilidh will be at the fabulous Sligachan Hotel on Skye on 15th April 2017   (well before midgie season - bonus!).  Music starts at 9pm and entry is free.  A great chance to put on your dancing shoes and see us live!  We can't wait!! 🙂

Thanks very much to Fiona Higgins Photography for sharing this picture of us at one of our autumn cèilidhs. Have a look at her website for more of her work. http://www.fionahigginsphotography.com/

Sarah from Dab Hand had a great time last week over in Zurich playing and calling for a ceilidh in aid of the charity Room to Read.  As with a lot of our ceilidhs, the event involved people from a large number of nationalities, many of whom had never been to a ceilidh before, making it all the more fun!  The event raised over £1200 for the charity, and the organisers hope to repeat the event in the near future.

Dab Hand had a fantastic gig last weekend in East Kilbride for a Friendship Party involving 9 different nationalities.  A first for the Dab Hand Band - we had some proper Canadians dancing the Canadian Barn Dance! Great Craic!
